Background
Hi! I'm Brendan Gasparin, a web developer and designer. I grew up and live in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.
I was the weird kid in school who played too many video games and ran Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. Even as an '80s kid I was into computers.
I learned BASIC from the manual that came with my Commodore 64, game code from magazines, and programmed my own RPGs.
In the mid-90s, I landed a job creating websites for a local web development agency. This was my introduction to the amazing world of the Internet.
I would write copy and code for about thirty web pages a day, serving clients around Australia.
I went to university to learn more about computer science and learned many programming languages, including advanced web development languages such as JavaScript, PHP, and SQL for database management.
After the pandemic I realised I had the skills necessary to become your favourite freelance web consultant. Now I am here to serve your Internet needs.

Outside of coding and design, I'm passionate about learning and creativity.
When I'm not building websites I can be found reading or writing (check out my blog), sketching and painting, playing video games and Dungeons & Dragons, or exploring Tasmania's beautiful landscapes with my kids and my BFF,
